Weird Drake Sayings: " I got Alzheimer so I cant hear you" " That's why your momma got diabetes" Dont ask me what either of those mean, but you like to go around saying them and so do your friends. You guys actually made a boy cry because his mother does have diabetes and is very sick because its unmanaged. Yet, this seems to be the new "cool" thing to say in elementary school for some unforeseen reason.
Height/Weight: No clue! You deleted my text app on my phone that I used to record all your vitals on so I am at a lost. Your tall. Hows that. Tall, thin and very, very active! Tall enough that I keep buying you new pants every couple months and new shoes every 3 months! Please slow down, my budget cant keep up with you!!
Things You Enjoyed:
1. First day of school: This month you started a new school at Cannaday Elementary for 5th grade. Your homeroom teacher is Mrs. Ellexson and you seem to like her pretty good. Its a new school, new friends, new apartment so lots of changes this month for you to adjust to. Luckily, you were able to make some friends at the apartment we live in that go to school with you so that helped ease your fears. Jayveon is your best friend right now and he spends alot of time at the apartments and this is his first year at Cannaday too. You guys walk to and from school together.2. Home:This has been your year being able to stay home and not be in daycare after school. You completed the summer at AppleSeed Academy again, but we opted to see how things go with you staying home when school is out and during breaks. So far its been good. You call me the second you get home and pretty much every 20 minutes till I get home just to help you feel safe. Its a huge change, but you are doing amazing at it.
3. Typical Pre-School: we did alot of the typical pre-back to school things. We went to the back to school fairs, finished off baseball season with the Rangers and Frisco Rough Riders, etc. Honestly by this time of the year we are all ready for baseball to be over. The bad news though for the Rangers is that this was Adrian Beltre's last season. He officially retired. We were lucky enough to be there when he did his farewell home game and it was so touching the way everyone on both teams rallied around him to show love, respect and support for the new chapter in his life. My favorite thing though was the beautiful candle holder and painting you made me during the summer at AppleSeed that you picked up on the last day of daycare. You know how much I adore having candles lit around the house and I had been complaining about always setting them on plates so you were listening to me and made me such a loving and thoughtful gift. The painting was just as thoughtful too, we like to attend painting with a twist classes together and this time you made me my very own painting.
